The present application relates to a battery thermal runaway experiment apparatus and system, and a method thereof. The battery thermal runaway experiment apparatus comprises a box body, a heating apparatus, a first gas channel, and a pump. The heating apparatus is arranged in the box body, and is used for producing heat. The first gas channel is in communication with the box body, and is used for gas circulation. The pump is connected to the box body by means of the first gas channel, and is used for filling the box body with gas or extracting gas from the box body. The battery thermal runaway experiment apparatus provided by the present application adds pressure change simulation.
