The search method comprises: determining a set of innovation key words, using the set of innovation key words to determine an innovation level, using a search tool to input the innovation key words for innovation search, and making statistics on search data. The search data may then be used to verify the innovativeness of an event, verify the core innovation content of the innovation event, determine the innovation level of the innovation event, determine the innovation factors of the innovation event, determine the innovation impact factors or annual innovation impact factors of the innovation event, determine the innovation derived factors or annual innovation derived factors of the innovation event, and calculate innovation indexes of different subjects, such as talent, magazine, community, organization, department and country.
