Disclosed is an air supply system for an electric locomotive, wherein the air supply system comprises an auxiliary air supply system and a primary air supply system. The auxiliary air supply system comprises an auxiliary compressor (1), a first auxiliary air supply pipeline (2), an auxiliary dryer (20), a second auxiliary air supply pipeline (3), and a sewage discharge pipeline (4) in communication with the auxiliary dryer (20), with same being successively in communication with each other, wherein the second auxiliary air supply pipeline (3) can further be in communication with a pantograph of an electric locomotive, and compressed air in the auxiliary compressor (1) can be delivered to the pantograph after being dried by the auxiliary dryer (20). The primary air supply system comprises a main air reservoir (5), a first primary air supply pipeline (6), and a second primary air supply pipeline (7), wherein the main air reservoir (5) can be in communication with the pantograph via the first primary air supply pipeline (6), and the main air reservoir (5) is in communication with the auxiliary dryer (20) via the second primary air supply pipeline (7); and the main air reservoir (5) is used for storing dried compressed air, and the dried compressed air in the main air reservoir (5) can be delivered to the pantograph and the auxiliary dryer (20). Further disclosed is an electric locomotive. By means of the air supply system and the electric locomotive, the cost and installation difficulty of an air supply system can be reduced.
