Disclosed is an electric motor direct-drive type alternating current variable-frequency winch for oil field drilling. The winch comprises a winch base (6), wherein the winch base (6) is provided with a winch roller (4); two end faces of the winch roller (4) are respectively provided with an end shaft (7); each end shaft (7) is respectively connected to an alternating current variable-frequency electric motor (1); the alternating current variable-frequency electric motors (1) are fixed to the winch base (6); the alternating current variable-frequency electric motors (1) are respectively connected to the winch roller (4); and one or more brake disks (3) are arranged outside the winch roller (4), and the brake disks (3) are used for braking the winch roller (4). The composition of a transmission chain of the electric motor direct-drive type alternating current variable-frequency winch for oil field drilling is simple, and the transmission efficiency is high; and the overall size is small, the weight is light, and the running noise is low.
