The present invention relates to a method of detecting and/or quantifying allergen specific IgEs and/or IgGs within a blood or serum sample of a mammal comprising the steps of a) transferring a blood or serum sample on an absorptive material, b) drying the absorptive material comprising the blood or serum sample of step a), c) eluting IgE and/or IgG from the dried absorptive material or a part thereof comprising the dried blood or serum sample by applying a buffer on said absorptive material or part thereof, d) recovering the eluate of step c) and e) applying the recovered eluate of step d) to a test system to simultaneously detect and/or quantify IgEs and/or IgGs binding to at least two allergens, wherein the test system comprises a solid support comprising at least two allergens and/or functional fragments thereof bound thereon in an amount of less than 1 ng each.
