(PAGES 13 -14) summary, a reasonable & responsible description could conclude that the Austech Projects Loom 'iring System ("APLWS") is a comprehensive, cost effective, compact, functional plug connected actrical wiring system with unique & exclusive features as are identified below. ie significance in the development of APLWS is the simplicity & logic in composing & compiling e variety of systems capable of being resolved through its introduction. Its application is comprehensive as to function & environment irrespective of either the specific purpose of the stallation or the premises type whether they be classified as residential, commercial or industrial. PLWS Features include:Standard format enclosures which are created by the vertical stacking & joining of plug-in modules of infinite numbers but which, for practical reasons including height limitations, is restricted to 4 modules with overall current dimensions measuring 55mm Long x 55mm Wide x 75mm High. These standard manufactured accessories are inserted in the installation to function as either 'Distributors' to extend the plug connected loom harness or may be otherwise introduced as plug connected Tap-Off Boxes ("T" Boxes). The Distributors & T box Accessories are supplied as ordered with the modules optionally interconnected or remain isolated as independent, "stand alone" modules. Similar accessories are also available as standard production with connections in various combinations of module numbers which connections are available to order . Other standard accessories that are configured & housed with their related components in single or multiple tiers of similarly sized modules are also available for various specialist applications including wireless remote; timer and other control methods. The created wiring system modular products are absolute & are readily available in standard format or are available to order quantity & types for peripheral specialised applications The developed wiring accessories include an AS/NZS Standards 3112 Plug Socket in which the male post-top type terminals are electrical & mechanical connected to their counterpart female plug sockets. The Plug Socket accessory is energised by attachment to a single module with incorporated ports to facilitate the ingoing & outgoing plug connection of Loom harness & to ensure continuity of supply. Additional modules may be added as determined to suit the particular application. A prominent purpose & function in the development of this plug socket was to plug connect to installations which could be deemed or classified as independent pursuant to AS/NZS or other prevailing Standards. The Loom Harness that links between accessories is a constant configuration of a range of 3 equal sized conductors limited in size to either 1.0mm; 1.5mm or 2.5mm diameter, each of which selectively directly crimp connects to the sockets forming part of the APLWS plug connections. Both ends of the linking Loom Harness are fitted with these identical & exchangeable APLWS polarised Plugs prior to enclosing & fixing the 3 rated & conductor connected female socket terminal in eir arranged off-set positions as shown particularly in Figure 5-2. The plug socket has a minimum rating of 20Amps operating at 240 Volts A.C. which is adequate to accommodate the maximum circuit load of any of the range of approved APLWS conductors which conductor range is limited, having a maximum size of 2.5mm with the flat configuration of 3 conductors in the complete range of harness sizes, being exclusively encased in standard production TPS cable. LOOM WIRING SYSTEM PAGE-14 To ensure continuity of supply to energise the Loom Harness, each harness Plug end is inserted & plug connects into an assigned & secured port. Absolute alignment & connection of the plug socket with its counterpart male terminal is assured by guide rails, moulded into the port plug platform, which align & identify with reciprocal rebates moulded into the plug case. As further assurance to defeat inadvertent & incorrect connection of the male pin & female socket terminals, the contact positions have been off-set to prevent unintentional connection. Final connection is achieved with the assistance of the lowered port cover which lowered cover functions as an external platform for the port plug whilst also providing the facility to both mark & attach the plug at the "home" connecting position(01/2020 INNOVATIVE PATENT APPLICATION A.P.
