A polyolefin composition comprises 0.3 to 2 percent of the ethoxyamide polymer according to the weight percent of the polyolefin composition. The invention further discloses a low-odor slow-burning polyolefin composition; and the low-odor slow-burning polyolefin composition is prepared from the following components in percentage by weight: 56 to 99.7 percent of polyolefin, 0.3 to 2 percent of the ethoxyamide polymer, 0 to 2 percent of the slow burning agent synergist and 0 to 40 percent of filler. According to the application of the ethoxyamide polymer serving as the slow burning agent, provided by the invention, excellent slow burning performance can be realized when the adding amount is less; and the prepared low-odor slow burning polyolefin composition also has the advantages of low odor and good slow burning performance.
