LOOP MEDIATED ISOTHERMAL AMPLIFICATION ASSAY FOR DETECTION OF SULPHADOXINE AND PYRIMETHAMINE RESISTANCE IN MALARIA

摘要

The present disclosure discloses a method and kit for simultaneous or separate detection or differentiation of the presence or absence of Pyrimethamine and Sulphadoxine (SP) resistance in human malaria parasite based on loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP). The disclosure also relates to novel and inventive primers and use thereof for the specific visual detection of SP resistance in human malaria parasite through LAMP.
