In the method, nitrogen application via drip irrigation is combined with split nitrogen application to decrease a proportion of base fertilizer nitrogen, increase a proportion of top-dressed fertilizer nitrogen, and supply nutrients in accordance with nitrogen requirements of flue-cured tobacco, achieving integration of water and fertilizer and a reduction of the loss of nitrogen fertilizer.
