The present application relates to a feed additive composition for cattle comprising N-acetyl-L-tryptophan (NALT) and, particularly, to: a feed additive composition for reducing temperature stress of cattle, increasing an average daily gain, and increasing a feed intake, the feed additive composition comprising N-acetyl-L-tryptophan as an active ingredient; a feed comprising the feed additive composition for cattle; and a method for reducing temperature stress of cattle, increasing an average daily gain, and increasing a feed intake, the method comprising the step of feeding cattle with a feed additive composition or feed for cattle comprising N-acetyl-L-tryptophan as an active ingredient.
