The invention relates to an exhaust-gas aftertreatment device (10) for a motor vehicle, having at least one catalytic converter (18) which can be flowed through by exhaust gas of an internal combustion engine (12) of the motor vehicle and which has at least one SCR material for the catalysis of a selective catalytic reduction for the purposes of reducing nitrogen oxides contained in the exhaust gas and has at least one NOx storage material for at least temporarily storing nitrogen oxides contained in the exhaust gas, and having a feed device (24) which is arranged upstream of the catalytic converter (18) and by means of which a reducing agent, by which nitrogen oxides contained in the exhaust gas can be reduced during the selective catalytic reduction, can be introduced into the exhaust gas, wherein the catalytic converter (18) is free from platinum metals.
