Disclosed are a method for constructing an equivalent scaled-down train model and a device for acquiring an equivalent scaled-down train. The method comprises: acquiring a scale factor of each dynamic parameter of an equivalent scaled-down train model with respect to a full-sized train; dividing the train into a front carriage and a middle carriage according to deformation and energy absorption features during a train collision, and dividing the front carriage into a deformed energy-absorbing region and a non-deformed region; respectively constructing a front carriage and a middle carriage of the equivalent scaled-down train model on the basis of the scale factor of the dynamic parameters; constructing an energy absorption guide member between adjacent carriages of the equivalent scaled-down train model according to deformation and energy absorption characteristics of a carriage-connecting mechanism disposed between adjacent carriages of the full-sized train, and calculating the length of an aluminum honeycomb-like cylinder on the basis of a dimensions scale factor; and calculating a cross-sectional area of the energy absorption guide member according to structural dimensions and a deformation and energy absorption characteristic curve of the carriage-connecting mechanism. The scaled-down front carriage model constructed by means of present the invention is highly reliable and ensures that the impact force of a train is similar to the rigidity of a train carriage, while also accurately reconstructing a train collision process.
