The invention relates to a method for the automatic assessment of companies that install fire-extinguishing facilities, wherein a number of criteria for certifying an installation company are defined, assessment metrics are specified on the system side, by means of which metrics the specifications for satisfying the criteria are automatically assessed and it is determined whether preconditions for a certification of the installation company are satisfied. The invention also relates to a corresponding system for the automatic assessment of companies that install fire-extinguishing facilities.
