The invention relates to a drive device (V) for an electric bike, comprising: a bottom bracket shaft (T); an output shaft (AT) for driving a wheel of the electric bike, a first electric motor (E1) which drives a first rotor shaft and a second electric motor (E2) which drives a second rotor shaft; and a phase shifter gearbox (UG) having a planetary gear stage, wherein the transmission ratio thereof can be steplessly adjusted using the first and second electric motors (E1, E2), and the bottom bracket shaft (T) and the output shaft (AT) can be coupled to one another via said phase shifter gearbox. The second rotor shaft of the second electric motor (E2) runs coaxially relative to an axis of rotation of a sun gear of the planetary gear stage.
