Anchoring device (100) for anchoring a stake (P) of a beach parasol in sand or sandy soil, comprising a plate (Pf) that can be buried and is made of a flexible or semirigid material, a sleeve (Mn) intended for receiving said stake, the sleeve (Mn) being associated with said plate by a junction zone (Zj), the sleeve (Mn) being open at both sides. According to the invention, the sleeve (Mn) comprises a tubular inner wall (Pt) connected to the outer wall (Tc) by radial ribs (Nv), said radial ribs extending toward the inside of the tubular inner wall (Pt) so as to come into contact with the constituent wall (T) of the stake. These projecting portions of ribs inside the tubular inner wall serve, on one hand, to facilitate insertion of the stake by rotation in said tubular inner wall by bending the projecting portions of said ribs and, on the other hand, to increase the sleeve's grip on the stake owing to the relatively high pressure that they exert on the wall of the stake. The sleeve does not require any additional gripping device to retain the parasol stake The anchoring device is relatively economical to manufacture.
