The pump head driving device has a second identification element (15). The second identification element identifies the first identification element and generates an identification result. The pump head driving device controls a manner in which the pump head operates according to the identification result. Also disclosed is a cardiopulmonary bypass system using the blood bump. The device can assist operations performed by medical personnel, and facilitate reducing erroneous operations.
