Disclosed are an inspection device for inspecting blocking performance for blocking blue light or violet light, and an inspection method of same. The inspection device according to the present invention emits blue or violet inspection light toward an object to be inspected, and then captures an image thereof from the opposite side by means of a camera. Here, because the camera is equipped with a light filter having a band pass ability for transmitting blue or violet light, whether the object to be inspected transmits or blocks blue or violet light can be easily checked by inspecting the image.
