The present invention relates to a hybrid trailer (100) comprising a supporting structure (10) on which there are mounted a rear axle (20) comprising a pair of retractable rear wheels (21); a retractable system of motorized crawlers (30); and control means (50) for the rear axle (20) and for the system of crawlers (30) that allow a switchover from a road configuration to an autonomous configuration (C2), or vice versa, wherein: in the road configuration, the rear wheels (21) are in contact with the ground and the system of crawlers (30) is retracted for a movement in a zone passable by a tractor vehicle, and in the autonomous configuration (C2), said system of crawlers (30) is in contact with the ground and the rear wheels (21) are retracted for an autonomous movement by said system of crawlers (30) in a non-passable zone.
