Provided is a homogeneous central gear gearset transmission with a complete single gearset, the transmission comprising planet gearsets, a planet gearset structure, input and output locking ends, and various brakes (7). The transmission uses no less than two planet gearsets to constitute a planet gear-connected planet gearset structure, wherein one of the no less than two planet gearsets is a complete single planet gearset, and the other planet gearsets are homogeneous central gear gearsets. The input and output locking ends take a planet carrier (6) as an input end, any central gear (1) is taken as an output end, the remaining central gears (2, 5) respectively serve as locking ends, and the locking ends are respectively connected to the brakes (7). The transmission uses no less than two brakes (7), wherein each of the brakes (7) is connected to a locking end; and the brakes (7) are controlled by a gear shifting control device to be in a braking state, a semi-braking state or a non-braking state. The transmission controls a gear by means of controlling the brakes (7) to brake.
