Disclosed are a message sending control method and apparatus in a sensing base station. The method comprises: a sensing base station obtaining definition information of a descriptor for describing feature elements of a vehicle; after a target vehicle has been detected, obtaining feature elements regarding the target vehicle; determining, according to the definition information of the descriptor, the type and a value of a target descriptor for describing the feature elements of the target vehicle; and adding type and value information of the target descriptor into a message body for sending, such that an on-board unit generates a natural sentence by means of performing natural language processing on the type and the value of the target descriptor, and outputs the natural sentence. The embodiments of the present application can make a driver associate, in a very visual way, a vehicle described in a message with a vehicle in the real world, thereby more effectively coping with possible dangers.
