A stimulus response-type self-repairing anti-corrosion coating material and a preparation method. The coating material comprises CuO microcapsules and a coating matrix, each CuO microcapsule comprising a capsule core and a capsule core carrier, the capsule core being a corrosion inhibitor, the capsule core carrier being porous CuO, the surface of each CuO microcapsule being covered in turn with an anionic polyelectrolyte layer and a cationic polyelectrolyte layer. The present invention successfully creates an anti-corrosion coating material having the dual effects of pH response and self-repair. The porous CuO increases the loading rate and encapsulation rate of the capsule core substance. In addition, an anionic polyelectrolyte may be attached to the surface via a layer-by-layer self-assembly method, and a cationic polyelectrolyte is then attached to the surface under the effect of a Coulomb force, thereby improving the dispersion of the microcapsules in the coating, solving the problem of porous substance CuO agglomeration, and also improving the binding performance of the capsule core carrier and the coating matrix, so that the anti-corrosion performance of the coating material is further improved.
