The present invention relates to a composition for coating a secondary battery separation membrane comprising a phosphorus-doped graphitic carbon nitride, a manufacturing method thereof and a lithium-sulfur secondary battery comprising the same. More specifically, the composition for coating a secondary battery separation membrane comprising a phosphorus-doped graphitic carbon nitride is coated onto a separation membrane of a lithium-sulfur secondary battery so as to prevent diffusion movements of a polysulfide eluted from an anode and be reversibly reused as an active material. Therefore, the composition for coating a secondary battery separation membrane comprising a phosphorus-doped graphitic carbon nitride can record high coulombic efficiency and discharge capacity even in high energy density anode conditions and can be used as a lithium-sulfur secondary battery with long life characteristics.
