The present invention relates to a method for preparing young barley leaf powder for use in functional health food. More specifically, the method uses a far-infrared drying apparatus employing a three-stage hybrid drying technique, a preprocessing grinder, and a hyper grinder to prevent loss of raw materials and nutrients, and realizes a fine-grinding process of leafy vegetables that are difficult to be made into powder, and thus can provide young barley leaf powder highly effective in weight loss and prevention of adult diseases.
