Disclosed are a system and a method for managing personal property collateral. The present invention delivers personal property to be pledged to a personal property manager who is a third person when a personal property transfer collateral contract is concluded between a borrower and a creditor, then pays the loan and executes an ownership change of the personal property to be pledged at the same time, and manages the personal property to be pledged until the loan is fully repaid to allow the borrower to quickly procure money and allow the borrower or the creditor to collect the personal property without a separate administrative procedure for clearing establishment of collateral established on the personal property in a court registry office.
