L- A composition for producing L-sorbose and uses thereof

The present invention relates to a composition for the production of L-sorbose, and a method for producing the same. The composition for producing L-sorbose of the present invention couples D-sorbitol dehydrogenase for converting D-sorbitol to L-sorbose and NAD(P)H oxidase for inducing regeneration by oxidizing NADPH to NADP^+, thereby having an effect of increasing the conversion productivity of D-sorbitol to L-sorbose. Thus, the present invention can be favorably used in the food, pharmaceutical and medical industries associated with L-sorbose.
