The present invention relates to a system for managing an automobile-specific highway using an autonomous vehicle, which comprises: a plurality of autonomous vehicles on which autonomous driving is performed on an autonomous driving exclusive road on the automobile-specific highway; a plurality of manual driving vehicles on which manual driving is performed by a driver on a manual driving exclusive road on an automobile-specific highway; a management vehicle on which manual driving is performed on the manual driving exclusive road by a management member and having at least one stop within a predetermined range stopping at a predetermined standby position in a standby state; and a highway management server performing controlling or management by transmitting corresponding information to the management vehicle when receiving image information photographed when performing autonomous driving from the autonomous vehicle if determined that the control or management is required outside a setting standard.
