The present invention relates to a manufacturing method of a cylindrical can for a secondary battery and a secondary battery including the same. A technical problem to be solved is to maintain rigidity of a case through the case made of dissimilar metals and to reduce resistance generated in a current path. To this end, the secondary battery comprises: a cylindrical can having an upper opening unit; an electrode assembly accommodated in the cylindrical can; and a cap assembly sealing the upper opening unit of the cylindrical can. The cylindrical can includes: a first region unit arranged in parallel with the cap assembly in a circular plate shape; and a second region unit bent from an outer circumference of the first region unit and extended in a cap assembly direction. The first region unit and the second region unit are formed of different metal from each other, and the first region is formed of the metal having resistance lower than the resistance of the metal forming the second region unit.
