Electric Toothbrush Using a Common Toothbrush

The present invention relates to an electric toothbrush using a regular toothbrush, in which various kinds of regular toothbrushes can be easily mounted and used as an electric toothbrush so that whole members of a family mount their own regular toothbrushes on one electric motor to use the same as an electric toothbrush. The electric toothbrush for the purpose of the present invention comprises: a body consisting of, in an integrated bundle, an arm having a battery accommodation unit, a motor driven by power from a battery and a vibration socket guided by an eccentric pin bonded to the motor to vibrate and having a rear end of a toothbrush handle inserted and joined thereinto; and a socket having a brush mounting room into which the body is inserted from the rear end thereof to be joined and a holder unit through which a head of the toothbrush mounted on the top end of the brush mounting room is passed. The vibration socket has at least one cutout portion, thereby dividing the top end thereof such that the socket keeps grip in correspondence to a size of the rear end of a toothbrush handle; the holder unit has a guide ring in front, which has a hook is hooked at an upper end thereof and a shaft pin is joined to a lower end thereof in order to perform twist motion from the left to right or vice versa with the shaft pin as an axis; and a thimble-type elastic cap made of any one of rubber, silicone or sponge and having a gripping hole perforated at the center thereof is insert-molded integrally with the front of the holder unit or the guide ring.
