According to an embodiment of the present invention, a zapping advertisement providing method includes: a step in which a broadcast reception device senses a state change condition; a step in which the broadcast reception device transmits broadcast content information received by the broadcast reception device to a central server in response to the state change condition; a step in which the address of a middle management server and zapping advertisement material information indicating zapping advertisement data to be displayed through the broadcast reception device are received from the central server based on the broadcast content information; a step in which if zapping advertisement data corresponding to the zapping advertisement material information is not pre-stored in the broadcast reception device, the middle management server is requested for the zapping advertisement data corresponding to the zapping advertisement material information including identification information of the broadcast reception device; a step in which as the middle management server requests one of a plurality of distributed servers for the zapping advertisement data based on the identification information of the broadcast reception device and loads of the distributed servers, the broadcast reception device receives the zapping advertisement data; and a step in which the broadcast reception device displays the zapping advertisement data on a second plane located visually below a first plane for displaying broadcast content.
