Recombinant antigenic protein for diagnosis of porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome and use thereof

The present invention relates to a recombinant antigen protein capable of evaluating immunity formation and an immunity level to porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome viruses and at the same time, simultaneously diagnosing infection with all genotypes of porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome viruses (PRRSV) through detection of a specific antibody derived from two genotypes of North American and European PRRSV; and a diagnosis use thereof. The antigen protein for diagnosing the North American and European PRRSV includes all proteins derived from North American PRRSV and European PRRSV and also includes variable amino acid sequences for each of the genotypes. Therefore, the antigen protein can simultaneously diagnose all antibodies to North American and European PRRSV showing various antigenicity, can quickly and very efficiently evaluate PRRSV immunity by significantly improving specificity to the PRRSV in a PRRS-negative maintaining farm including a pig breeding farm and thus, can be useful in minimizing economic damage caused by PRRS in the pig breeding farm.
