The present invention relates to a composition for preventing, alleviating or treating inflammatory diseases containing a pH-sensitive block copolymer, which contains a curcumin derivative, as an active component. The pH-sensitive block copolymer, which contains the curcumin derivative according to the present invention forms micelles so that it is possible to load a large amount of curcumin and allow the curcumin derivative to last longer in the body. In addition, since micelles collapse at a weakly acidic pH of the inflammatory site and an acetal bond to which the curcumin derivative is linked is broken, the curcumin derivative is generated and released to act specifically on the inflammatory site to have less toxicity to normal cells, thereby having an anti-inflammatory effect by itself.
