Disclosed is an apparatus for manipulating a micro object by controlling a laser beam using brain signals. The apparatus comprises: a communication unit which receives multi-channel brain signals collected from a plurality of points of a user head; a brain signal analysis unit which analyzes a frequency spectrum and a spatial distribution of the collected multi-channel brain signals; a photographing unit which photographs a micro object located on a stage; a beam intensity adjusting unit which adjusts the intensity of a laser beam that captures the micro object; a beam irradiation direction adjusting unit which adjusts an irradiation direction of the laser beam; and a control module which controls the beam intensity adjusting unit so that the intensity of a laser beam to be irradiated to the micro object is adjusted based on the intensity of the multi-channel brain signals, and controls the beam irradiation direction adjusting unit so that the irradiation direction of the laser beam is adjusted based on the spatial distribution of the received multi-channel brain signals. Accordingly, a micro object can be precisely manipulated by controlling a laser beam using brain signals.
