The present invention relates to a method for discriminating organic rice, pesticide-free rice, and general rice using stable isotope analysis for each component, and more particularly, to a method for separately measuring a stable isotope ratio for each component of amino acid contained in rice, and discriminating organic rice, pesticide-free rice, and general rice through an orthogonal partial least square discriminant analysis (OPLS-DA). It is confirmed that the method for discriminating organic rice, pesticide-free rice, and general rice using stable isotope analysis for each component, effectively discriminates rice through the OPLS-DA. In particular, the organic rice/ pesticide-free rice can be discriminated from the general rice on the basis of δ15N values of glutamic acid, glycine, isoleucine, methionine, proline, serine and threonine, and it is confirmed that the organic rice/ pesticide-free rice can be effectively discriminated based on δ13C values of tyrosine, isoleucine and alanine. Therefore, the method for discriminating rice can improve a procedure of authenticating Korean organic rice, and easily detect incorrect or fraudulent display and a failure of the organic rice potentially traded in a world rice market.
