An embodiment of the present invention relates to a method for real-time subtitle synthesis in VR contents and for connecting the motion of a character used for foreign language learning and an application thereof. In particular, in the present method and application, a plurality of different audiovisual elements and five-sensual/dynamic elements are mapped for each of voice contents of a foreign language learner under a VR environment for interaction, such that VR contents may be provided in a format which connects a VR screen in accordance with the connection with the motion of a character. Therefore, when a learner learns a foreign language, the audiovisual elements and the five-sensual/dynamic elements are mapped in the voice contents of the learner corresponding to the format for each of the voice contents of the learner for interaction, before the VR screen is connected in accordance with the connection with the motion of the character and subtitles are synthesized in real time. Accordingly, a VR image can be provided. Consequently, the learner can learn a foreign language by talking with a figure in the VR image through interaction, such that the learner can learn a foreign language with interest by the provided tangible media.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2020
