The present invention relates to an Fbln5 (Fibulin-5) gene-deficient animal model, a method of screening a therapeutic agent for nerve or muscle diseases using the model, and a pharmaceutical composition comprising the screened therapeutic agent for nerve or muscle diseases using the method. When the animal model of the present invention is used, a demyelinating disease therapeutic agent having good efficacy and few side-effects can be effectively screened, and drug candidate materials can be easily and quickly tested for in vivo side-effects due to the toxicity thereof.
