Disclosed is a method for automatically setting up joints in a 3D target model by using a computer. The method comprises the steps of: receiving a 3D standard model in which first joints having a hierarchical structure are set up; receiving a 3D target model having the same geometry as a geometry of the 3D standard model; obtaining a target skeleton by copying the first joints having the hierarchical structure from the 3D standard model in which the first joints having the hierarchical structure are set up; calculating MBBs of the 3D standard model and the 3D target model; and modifying the target skeleton according to the position and size of the 3D target model by using the calculated MBBs, and placing the modified target skeleton in the 3D target model.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2020
