The present invention relates to a system for assessing safety of control right transition between an autonomous vehicle and a driver using driving simulation. According to the present invention, the system comprises: a cylindrical image apparatus unit receiving a vehicle therein through a door and representing and displaying graphic motions corresponding to an omnidirectional driving environment around the vehicle; a driving simulator unit controlling the graphic motions and transmitting a steering control signal in accordance with a stored driving simulation scenario to control a steering handle of the vehicle and transmitting a control right transition notification signal to the vehicle when an emergency situation occurs during the driving simulation; and a vehicle-simulator interface unit connected to the vehicle and a simulator to support interworking between the vehicle and the driving simulator unit. Accordingly, the present invention can assess safety of a control right transition process of the driver in the emergency situation of the autonomous vehicle by using a driving simulation environment, rather than a real driving environment, constructed based on interworking between the vehicle and the simulator.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2020
