According to an embodiment of the present invention, a cylindrical secondary battery includes an electrode assembly including a negative electrode sheet, a positive electrode sheet and a separator, wherein the separator is located on the outermost of the electrode assembly. An electrode tab positioned inside the separator is attached to one of the negative electrode sheet and the positive electrode sheet, and a metal layer positioned between the electrode tab and the separator includes an adhesive material. It is possible to implement the cylindrical secondary battery that can increase the stability and lifespan of a battery cell.
