The present invention relates to a blocking device for an electromechanical drive brake (12) of a motor vehicle (10). The electromechanical drive brake (12) includes a locking wheel (46) supported to be rotated around a rotating axis (T). The locking wheel is connected to or can be connected to a driveshaft (20) of a drive system (18) of the electromechanical drive brake (12) rotatable around the same rotating axis (T) in a rotation-stable manner. The blocking device (48) includes a locking plunger (50), a moving device (52) for a movement of the locking plunger (50) following a moving axis (A), and a position determination plunger (58) to determine the position of the locking plunger (50). The locking plunger can axially move along the moving axis (A) between a first position at which the locking plunger (50) releases the locking wheel (46) and a second position at which the locking plunger (50) meshes into the locking wheel (46) for blocking. The present invention also relates to an electromechanical drive brake (12) for a motor vehicle (10) including such a blocking device (48). The present invention also relates to a motor vehicle (10) including such an electromechanical drive brake (12).
