The present invention provides an aluminum alloy for insert die casting, an extruded material, and a manufacturing method thereof. According to an embodiment of the present invention, an aluminum alloy for insert die casting comprises: greater than 6.0 wt% and 8.5 wt% or less of aluminum (Al); 0.2 wt% or more and 0.8 wt% or less of zinc (Zn); greater than 0 wt% and 1.0 wt% or less of zirconium (Zr); greater than 0 wt% and 0.3 wt% or less of nickel (Ni); greater than 0 wt% and 0.2 wt% or less of copper (Cu); greater than 0 wt% and 0.2 wt% or less of manganese (Mn); greater than 0 wt% and 0.02 wt% or less of silicon (Si); greater than 0 wt% and 0.1 wt% or less of iron (Fe); and the balance magnesium (Mg) and inevitable impurities.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2020
