The present invention relates to a technology for activating cell proliferation and an immune effect with regard to hypholomine B and davallialactone, which are styrylpyrone-based compounds derived from Phellinus linteus KACC93057P. According to various embodiments of the present invention, the present invention may provide a composition for strengthening an immune function, comprising a styrylpyrone-based compound, which is a polyphenol extract from Phellinus linteus, as an effective ingredient. The composition can show an excellent effect of strengthening an immune function, such as activating cell proliferation and immunity and can be used as a food composition or a pharmaceutical composition accordingly.
