VEGF USE OF A VEGF ANTAGONIST TO TREAT ANGIOGENIC EYE DISORDERS

The present invention provides a method of treating angiogenic eye disorders by sequentially administering multiple doses of a VEGF antagonist to a patient. The method of the present invention comprises administering multiple doses of the VEGF antagonist to the patient once every 8 weeks or more. The method of the present invention is useful for the treatment of angiogenic eye disorders such as age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, diabetic macular edema, central retinal vein occlusion and angular neovascularization.
