The present invention relates to a method for synthesizing an iron oxide magnetic nanoparticle-based preparation that can be used in medicine as a contrast agent for chemistry, more specifically, magnetic resonance tomography (MRI) of tumors. The method comprises preparing a solution of iron (III) acetylacetonate in benzyl alcohol having a specific mode, and then coating magnetic nanoparticles with human serum albumin and/or bovine serum albumin, and by intermolecular crosslinking with glutaraldehyde. And stabilizing the resulting coating. The hydrodynamic size of the magnetic nanoparticles is 25-50 nm, preferably 25-40 nm, which provides sufficient blood circulation time for MRI visualization.
