The writing brush has a receiving recess and a guide portion. The receiving recess is formed concave on the head end of the brush. The receiving recess has an axis and an inner circumference concentric with the axis. The inner circumference of the receiving recess may be bonded and joined to the brush head. The guide portion is disposed on the head end of the brush and extends in a direction parallel to the axis of the receiving recess. The guide portion guides the direction of movement of the tool, so that the tool moves along the guide portion and the inner circumference of the receiving recess is prevented from being damaged. Accordingly, the guide portion positions the tool so that the tool is prevented from being guided and deflected by the guide portion when cleaning the residual adhesive, and the inner circumference of the receiving recess is not damaged and deformed or expanded.
