The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a porous electrode current collector using a hydrogen foam template and to an electrode current collector manufactured by the above method, specifically, a step of forming a porous copper thin film by applying an overvoltage during electroplating in a copper plating solution, and Disclosed is a method of manufacturing a porous electrode current collector comprising the step of washing the porous copper thin film by using a volatile organic solvent and distilled water, and an electrode current collector manufactured by the method. It can be expected to deposit uniformly on this increased copper thin film to suppress dendritic morphology growth or to grow lithium in holes formed of copper. In addition, the problem of cleaning in porous copper thin film was solved by using volatile organic solvent and water, and improved the low efficiency during the first charge and discharge.
