According to an embodiment of the present invention, disclosed are a system for distinguishing a clickbait based on natural language processing and a method thereof. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the system for distinguishing a clickbait based on natural language processing is an artificial intelligence system comprising: a clickbait vocabulary database; a clickbait vocabulary collection device for collecting clickbaits while monitoring Internet news articles, extracting clickbait vocabulary from headlines of the collected clickbaits, and storing the clickbait vocabulary in the clickbait vocabulary database; and a clickbait distinguishing device for determining suitability of a headline of a news article related to a news headline selected by a user on a web page where multiple news headlines are exposed by referring to the clickbait vocabulary database. Therefore, when using the system for distinguishing a clickbait and a method thereof, much time for determination is not consumed by analyzing only a relatively short news headline, preface, trailer, hash tag and the like in a morpheme form and it is possible to distinguish a clickbait which attracts readers with exaggerated or sensational phrases by using the clickbait vocabulary database.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2020
