The present invention relates to an exploratory language-learning system based on machine learning, natural language processing, and a pattern-based reference library, the system comprising: an input system for collecting or inputting an instance generated from a language; a morphological analyzer which performs a morphological reduction for input characters, such as a linguistic unit, a word, a stem, an affix, a phonetic symbol, etc., and generates word classes from the input characters; a phrase structure parser which recognizes a larger phrase and clause structure in the morphological reduction; a reference library indexed by a morpheme and phrase-structure pattern; a pattern-matching system which finds a reference library item in which a pattern exists, through analysis and parsing (phrase analysis) of an explored instance; and a presentation system in which a user can read and explore related reference data.
