Disclosed are a method for driving a control moment gyro cluster using a potential function and a driving system for a control moment gyro cluster. A method of driving a control moment gyro cluster according to an embodiment of the present invention includes selecting a target singularity in consideration of an input direction of the torque among the singularities searched for a specified torque in association with the generation of a torque input command. And, determining the gimbal angle corresponding to the target singularity as a target gimbal angle, and angularly shifting the current gimbal angle to reach the target singularity, and upon the movement, reach an evasion singularity excluding the target singularity And adjusting the current gimbal angle using a potential function.
