One embodiment is directed to a screening method for discovering genes capable of increasing 1,4-BDO production based on proteomics data. In addition, it was confirmed that the productivity of 1,4-BDO increased when overexpressing the proteins selected in this way, Ncgl0630 (citrate synthase) and Ncgl2145 (hyperthetical protein). In this way, more 1,4-BDO productivity-related proteins can be discovered, which can increase productivity, and thus, it is considered that the industrial availability is high.
