The present invention relates to a polypeptide which is an epitope of Pep27 of pneumococcal streptococci and an anti-Pep27 antibody or antigen-binding fragment thereof specifically binding thereto. The anti-Pep27 antibody or antigen-binding fragment thereof specifically binds to an epitope region and has excellent binding affinity compared to other antibodies, and thus can be used in combination with other constant regions or as a similar antibody. Therefore, it is effective in the prevention or treatment of pneumococcal infection, and thus can be usefully used in the related pharmaceutical industry.
